Historic leather house Loewe was founded in Madrid as an artisan cooperative in 1846, later consolidated into a pioneering luxury group by German entrepreneur Enrique Loewe Roessberg. By the 1960s, the brand’s geometric accessories and futuristic ready-to-wear were trailblazing a modernist European aesthetic.
