Responsible for fashion's first wedge espadrille, as commissioned by Yves Saint Laurent himself in the mid-sixties, the Castaner brand started out as a family-run business in 1927 in Spain. The wedge has since become the brand's signature alongside the classic espadrille shape cut in modern textures, and seasonal colors and prints.
