Merging her knowledge of fashion with her background in architecture, Berlin-based designer Amélie Riech launched her line of sleek sculptural jewelry in 2008 under the moniker Uncommon Matters. Riech’s designs quickly found a following in not only the fashion sphere, but in the art world at large, with the brand’s “wearable architecture” being regularly exhibited at contemporary galleries worldwide. Adopting a minimalist approach to design, Riech constructs elegant pieces with ultramodern forms.
