1986 founder Zahra Ayub creates multipurpose, sustainable, and luxurious candles using scent-memory techniques inspired by her travels around the world. The Los Angeles–based label develops its fragrances using essential oil blends, which are hand-poured and made with organic coconut wax and cotton wicks for a clean, chemical-free burn. The candles are housed in marble and onyx vessels that are hand-carved and refillable, with lids that can serve as ashtrays or incense holders. Fragrances offer an elevated sensory experience, with fresh and sweet notes of petrichor, white rose, and Darjeeling contrasting musky and woody notes of smokey bonfire and patchouli.
