Toga SHOES

Tokyo-based menswear label TOGA grew out of Yasuko Furuta’s love of vintage fashion. Nurtured by the rockabilly scene in Nagoya and educated at the ESMOD school in Paris, Furuta has earned a reputation for blending western subcultural tropes with Japanese design principles. TOGA is best known for channeling dichotomous elements into a singular androgynous aesthetic, with an unexpected mix of themes and styles running through each collection. The TOGA x Suicoke footwear collaboration features classic silhouettes embellished with the brand’s signature engraved hardware and buckle fastenings. Chunky boots and sandals rest on foam rubber soles, at once harsh and soft in appearance. Fusing high-performance materials with a fashion-forward sensibility, TOGA offers a refreshing take on contemporary men’s footwear.
