Sunnei HATS

Founded by French-Italian duo Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo, young Milan-based label Sunnei is making international headway with its unostentatious approach to garment design. Since launching in 2015, the label has expanded its visual vocabulary to include a womenswear collection, one which Messina and Rizzo describe as a ‘natural extension' of their menswear line. Influenced by the friends and environments with which they surround themselves, Messina and Rizzo embrace a design ethos that looks to the present, choosing to focus on style and timelessness rather than momentary trends. Championing an aesthetic that sits somewhere between streetwear and high fashion, Sunnei seeks to challenge traditional notions of the ‘Made in Italy’ label by drawing attention to fresh and innovative design taking place on the peninsula. Combining luxurious fabrics with designs that are extremely well cut, Sunnei's womenswear line exudes an air of effortless cool. Oversized blazers, knitwear, and cargo pants meet bodycon dresses and mesh long sleeve tops while rectangular glasses, chunky platforms, and cheeky prints round out the collection with subtle references to ironic 90’s styles.
