19-69 PERFUMES
Since its inception in 2017, 19-69 founder Johan Bergelin has been reviving iconic countercultural moments through fragrance. The brand’s namesake is Bergelin’s birth year—one marked by freedom, tolerance, and rebellion. 19-69’s hand-crafted fragrances conjure distinct sensory experiences, with each candle and eau de parfum formulated from a detailed fragrance journey: stories that outline the exact occasion the scents emulate. Purple Haze, a soft cannabis and violet leaf-infused perfume, is inspired by the smell and atmosphere of the legendary Woodstock festival. The Female Christ scent pays homage to Lene Adler Petersen’s controversial 1969 performance in Copenhagen with notes of eucalyptus, patchouli, and pimento. With a passionate practice of sensorial recollection, 19-69 fragrances invoke the energy of past eras.
