Viso Project

David Vivirido and Francesco Sourigues founded their lifestyle brand Viso Project in 2018 after searching for affordable handicrafts for their home. The duo, who made their first foray into the design industry by helming fashion magazine Hercules Universal, harnessed their expert eye to curate meticulously crafted keepsakes. Drawing upon a mutual passion for traditionally crafted items and contemporary art, Viso Project works with artisans from all over the world to produce limited-edition capsule collections of specialty objects, textiles, and accessories. Quilted pillows and tapestry throws feature bold colors and abstract graphics, while deftly carved wooden fruit bowls speak to more traditional forms. Textured vases colorblocked in earthen greys and oranges pay homage to alternating layers of rock and ash in the volcanic island of Lanzarote, Spain. Never straying far from its Spanish and Argentinian origins, Viso Project continues to push its modern design vision while remaining firmly rooted in time-honored practices.
