KkCo HATS

Los Angeles–based designer Kara Jubin founded KkCo in 2019 to carve out a new sartorial space that goes beyond binary thinking, offering hyperfluid outfits inspired by contemporary creative communities. Cotton fleece loungewear takes on a transcendent whimsy with multicolor patterns tie-dyed by hand, while classic workwear pieces are reanimated with unexpected detailing, oversized fits, and soft flares. The label’s asymmetrically ruffled organza dresses, corduroy utility trousers, and striped denim jeans draw a cunningly subversive silhouette that reflects an LA sensibility, from Echo Park to Sunset Boulevard and everything in between. KkCo’s structure as an inclusive, collaboration-oriented studio, along with its domestic, small-batch production, allows for the fulfillment of the label’s experimentally flirtatious spirit as well as its growing reputation for eco-consciousness and high standards of quality.
