Laura Lombardi

New York-based designer Laura Lombardi founded her namesake jewelry label in 2010. Growing up between the culturally diverse milieus of New York City and Italy informed Lombardi’s signature aesthetic: a rich mélange of modern industrial style and influences from classical art and sculpture. The collection’s variety of jewelry and accessories are unified through the prominent use of gold and heavy sculptural characteristics. Known for her chunky yet lightweight pieces, the self-taught designer—who operates out of her Brooklyn studio—handcrafts each piece individually using repurposed and recycled materials. By making her craft a sustainably responsible one, Lombardi offers a fresh take, and an understated opulence, to luxury jewelry and accessories.
