Eastwood Danso
In 2016, while still a high school student, German-born Eastwood Danso launched his eponymous menswear brand. Before he could legally vote, Danso was earmarked as a promising British designer and mentored by Samuel Ross, creative director of A-Cold-Wall*. Danso's debut collection of thoughtfully pared down streetwear led to a co-sign with Nike. Shortly after, he collaborated with Converse—elevating their classic Chuck Taylors to a subtly distinguished hiking boot—and enrolled at Central Saint Martins. Ever dodging monolithic presentation, the designer is known for combining color palettes that reference his father’s Ghanian heritage with classic, monochrome streetwear cues. The resulting synthesis exemplifies a reverence for history and a deeply contemporary instinct toward reinterpretation. With a deft attention to detail and an eye for easy-to-wear tailoring, Danso cannily integrates disparate cultures and trends into a streamlined take on future-looking menswear.
