Influenced by the rock and grunge subcultures of his youth—notably those that developed in and around the Sunset Strip of the 1990’s—L.A.-native Mike Amiri launched his eponymous ready-to-wear label in 2013. Known for his signature distressed skin-tight denim, shot-gunned flannels, and paint-splattered leathers, AMIRI quickly rose to cult status, becoming a favorite amongst the Hollywood elite. As a result of the label’s rapid rise to success, Amiri expanded his collection to include a womenswear line in 2017. Designed and manufactured in downtown L.A., the offering includes distressed knitwear, ripped jeans, and logo-emblazoned T-shirts and sweatshirts.
