Cross-continental luxury women’s footwear label Nodaleto seductively amalgamates pristine lines and square shapes to construct beautiful everyday shoes with audacious heels. After graduating from the London College of Fashion, designer Julia Toledano launched Nodaleto in 2019 with studios in Paris and Los Angeles, cities filled with historic cultural references that inform the house’s at once whimsical and austere aesthetic. Toledano and art director Olivier Leone meticulously illustrate Toledano’s vision of “Americano Mediterraneo Minimalism” by capturing her family’s Spanish and Morrocan heritage in the brand’s essence. Crafted in the age-old Italian tradition at Nodaleto’s factory in Venice, mules, Mary Jane pumps, lace-up and zippered mid-calf and ankle boots are constructed from premium textiles and deftly-treated leather. Stacked high upon a sculptural block heel, lively 70s and 90s-inspired silhouettes exude confidence and comfort in stark white, black, and the brand’s signature tangerine orange. Nodaleto’s nouvelle actualization of classic minimalist lines is the bold first step in a million-mile journey.
