A-COLD-WALL*
With a degree in graphic design, years spent exploring multidisciplinary art forms, and experience working alongside Off-White founder Virgil Abloh, designer Samuel Ross founded his design project and fashion label A-COLD-WALL* in 2015. Ross seeks to articulate the struggle within Britain’s divisive class system through unisex, workwear-inspired designs buoyed by an undercurrent of youth-driven street style. Logo t-shirts and outerwear are crafted from durable industrial textiles, while androgynous hoodies and distressed pullovers crafted in a subtle neutral palette evoke the urban architectural landscape. With a womenswear collection that is at once raw and refined, A-COLD-WALL*’s radical ideologies resonate loudly within the realms of both high art and high fashion.
