Functionality is the guiding principle behind 4SDESIGNS, the inaugural menswear label by Angelo Urrutia. Based in New York and produced in Bologna, the label balances a ready-to-wear-and-tear ethos with a manufacturing process that prizes craftsmanship and quality. Bombers and heavy-set peacoats warmly recall autumn in New York, while blazers, button-downs, and trousers point to vintage Italian design. Urrutia, formerly of Engineered Garments and Nepenthes, draws with a deliberately casual hand throughout, casting familiar silhouettes in deep blues, earth tones, and classic striped patterns. Standing outside of any trend, impervious to all seasons, 4SDESIGNS boldly suggests that durability is the truest form of luxury.
