Sisters Nancy and Kimberly Wu started their L.A.-based design project in 2011, directing their combined backgrounds in industrial design towards a collection of minimalist bags and accessories inspired by utilitarian shapes. Discarding the conventions of luxury design vernacular, the label puts forth a new proposition that is both strikingly fresh and subliminally timeless, rooted in our primal enjoyment of the most essential forms. Leathers in muted pastel shades and colored transparencies emerge as signature details, while unexpected materials like wood, rubber tubing, and brass rods add textural interest across a carefully considered range of pared-back totes, shoulder bags, and wallets.
