Tiffany’s Tokyo TV: Yoshi

With tripod and selfie stick in hand, 20-year Tokyo veteran and fashion editor Tiffany Godoy goes where others can’t. Tiffany’s Tokyo TV (TTT) is a vlogumentary that dives into the creative processes of tastemakers in her city’s scene.

On this episode, 14-year-old pint-sized style giant and global enigma Yoshi takes Tiffany to two of his favorite Harajuku destinations. He styles her, dances a lot, they eat hamburgers, and for the first time he shares his story. The hype started last year, shortly after Yoshi discovered fashion at the track when one of his fellow mini RC car racers was wearing Yohji Yamamoto. Yoshi fell hard. He joined Instagram using his mom’s phone (he still doesn’t have his own) and snapped a photo at the Off-White store opening with his new buddy Virgil Abloh. Now, after homework and before dark, he makes his way around different fashion events where he is on his way to becoming an A-lister. We bet fashion is more than a phase—this junior high schooler is wise beyond his years and has some serious plans.
