Field Tests: Heels

Field Tests is a visual exploration of the biomechanics, velocity, and overall ease with which products interact with the wearer and their surroundings.

There's an underlying disquiet to venturing into uncharted territory—an uneasiness that irks even the bold. Analysis and data collecting remedy this feeling, through experimentation on anything from anthropomorphic test devices, to lab rats. Despite this rigorous dedication to anticipating the potential perils that await us, in these experiments there's an absence of the subject we're most passionately trying to protect—the human. Field Tests: Heels takes human experimentation to the streets (and the skating rink, and your mattress) to best gauge what awaits us on the next stroll across the ice.
