Shinola launched in 2011 with a state-of-the-art factory in Detroit’s historic Argonaut Building, establishing their unwavering commitment to crafting lasting products from watches to leather goods. Sixty hands participate in the assembly of each watch, while each four-layer premium watch strap is meticulously cut and sewn in Shinola’s in-house leather factory. Swiss and imported mechanical parts are artfully assembled by hand to tick a lifetime inside solid stainless steel lugs canopied in sapphire crystal. Functional precision takes the shape of subdials, bezels, and date windows, while contrasting colored dials and straps reveal a devil-is-in-the-details sophistication.
