In 2008, American designer Maryam Nassir Zadeh opened her flagship store in New York’s Lower East Side. After more than a decade of sartorial success, the Parsons graduate launched her first men’s ready-to-wear collection for Spring/Summer 2021. Imbued with vintage references, contemporary flourishes, and laidback silhouettes, the capsule collection continues the label’s tradition of casual elegance. “It’s a building block of basics,” Zadeh says of the new foray into menswear, “but a really refined building block—the right shape combined with the right fabric and color palette.” V-neck jersey vests, button-up shirts, pinstripe pullovers, and oversized pleat-front trousers form a clear vision of sumptuous ease.
