Drake's

Founded in 1977 as a haberdasher near the Spitalfields district of East London, Drake’s offers nuanced casualwear inspired by quintessentially English sporting styles. Founder Michael Drake initially focused on men's accessories—scarves, shawls, plaids, and handkerchiefs—before expanding to handmade silk ties through a partnership with Charles Hill, father of current creative director Michael Hill. Under the younger Hill’s careful eye, Drake’s has expanded to offer a full range of garments, footwear, and accessories that hold true to the brand’s ‘70s-era commitment to quality craftsmanship. Sophisticated suede and pebble grain derbys, soft merino knitwear, and earth-toned corduroy jackets are playfully contrasted by primary colors in the form of monochromatic scarves, six-panel ball caps, and sporty patterned jumpers. Forty years of pursuing relaxed elegance has imbued Drake’s with a reverence for the sporting days of yore, tempered by a keen eye for the needs of the present.
