Brain Dead HATS

Brain Dead is a creative agency and streetwear brand cofounded by Kyle Ng and Ed Davis. Though based in L.A., the collective is comprised of artists and designers from around the globe who share an interest in all that is disruptive and provocative. Finding inspiration in skate, post-punk, and comic book subcultures, Brain Dead revels in the unconventional. Subversive aesthetics and the spirit of counterculture play a dominant role throughout the label’s offering: T-shirts, hoodies, and lounge pants feature DIY-inspired graphics while utility and outerwear staples arrive emblazoned with logo patterns. Accessories, such as bucket hats and duffle bags, further round out the collection. Utility gear meets laid-back casualwear in a brand whose pieces are unified by an insurgent, graphic-led approach. By operating as a community of creatives Brain Dead offers a novel alternative to the process of creation, challenging the traditional designer-focused approach to artistic expression.
