Moya

Inspired by modernist sculpture and design, London-based jewelry label Moya balances ascetic abstraction with Byzantine richness. In the spirit of prolific modernist vanguards such as Jean-Michel Frank and Constantin Brancusi, Moya founder Victoria Hatcher designs minimalist yet intimate details into her bracelets and anklets. Additional cues come from the silversmithing tradition of Taxco, Mexico, a region rich in precious metals and known for its Mesoamerican jewelry. A selection of tranquil yet striking earrings sculpt the neck with sinuous movement while ornamental necklaces tenderly brush the collarbone. Linked belts and body chains sling gingerly around the waist and hips to accentuate the silhouette. Channeling ancient arts and contemporary aesthetics, Moya creates dreamlike jewelry that evokes ceremony and reverence.
