Founded in 1976 as a humble 230-square-foot shop in Harajuku, BEAMS has since grown into a foundational Japanese brand. Among its many lines is BEAMS PLUS, launched in 1999 as a heritage-inspired collection of ready-to-wear, objects, and accessories. Reflecting a fondness for American post-war classics, the line updates vintage silhouettes with contemporary flair to create styles replete with cross-generational appeal. Embracing a playfully traditional aesthetic, creative director and Pitti Uomo legend Tatsuya Nakamura has stepped beyond streetwear to establish a collection that is both archetypal and forward-looking.
