Loewe TROUSERS
Historic leather house Loewe was founded in Madrid as an artisan cooperative in 1846, later consolidated into a pioneering luxury group by German entrepreneur Enrique Loewe Roessberg. By the 1960s, the brand’s geometric accessories and futuristic ready-to-wear were trailblazing a modernist European aesthetic. Revived for the present day by creative director Jonathan Anderson, Loewe offers a versatile selection of leatherware ranging from messenger bags and totes to phone cases and keychains that feature intricate tactile details including knotting, dimensional patchwork, and cutouts. Checked wool blankets offer warmth and comfort, while mohair sweaters with bold jacquard knit graphics, striped shirting, and colorblocked trousers present perfected forms and an advanced color sense. With a sophisticated sensibility that brings a contemporary element to the brand’s signature designs, Anderson’s progressive vision has animated Loewe with a subtly transgressive energy.
