Milan-based Vitelli, with Mauro Simionato at its helm, has showcased the effervescence of Italian youth culture since 2016. Inspired by the “cosmic youth” movement of the early 1980s, Vitelli weaves elements of Italian subculture into its knitwear using age-old techniques. Fabricated in Italy, the brand’s zero-impact garments are manufactured in collaboration with independent family-owned factories in the Veneto region. The brand uses Doomboh, an innovative material felted from 100% reclaimed yarn, to create unique oversized sweaters, trucker jackets, work trousers, and knit beanies. Bursting with creative hems, surreal patterns, and psychedelic embroidery, Vitelli infuses traditional Italian craftsmanship with colorful countercultural edginess.
