Daniel W. Fletcher TOPSSS

London-based designer Daniel W. Fletcher established his namesake men's ready-to-wear label in 2015, after stropping his design skills working for the likes of Louis Vuitton, Victoria Beckham, Burberry, and Lanvin. The young brand combines English heritage with modern eclecticism to novelize the conventions of luxury menswear. Known for tackling contemporary issues and conveying a politically-charged point-of-view, the Central Saint Martins graduate and 2017 LVMH Prize shortlist finalist explores themes of youth and British identity to deliver a casual yet refined menswear offering. Rendered in old school-inspired athletic silhouettes, sporty logo tank tops, nylon drawstring shorts, and slim joggers feel particularly urbane layered under perennial twill trench coats, field jackets, and leather anoraks. Reinterpreted polo shirts and knit mock neck pullovers are pieced together in colorblocked panels, while unexpected trims like contrast piping and topstitching outline the collection's relaxed tailoring.
