Brain Dead

Brain Dead is a creative agency and streetwear brand cofounded by Kyle Ng and Ed Davis. Though based in L. A. , the collective is comprised of artists and designers from around the globe who share an interest in all that is disruptive and provocative. Finding inspiration in skate, post-punk, and comic book subcultures, Brain Dead revels in the unconventional. Subversive aesthetics and the spirit of counterculture play a dominant role throughout the label’s offering: T-shirts, hoodies, and lounge pants feature DIY-inspired graphics while utility and outerwear staples arrive emblazoned with logo patterns. Accessories, such as bucket hats and duffle bags, further round out the collection. Utility gear meets laid-back casualwear in a brand whose pieces are unified by an insurgent, graphic-led approach. By operating as a community of creatives Brain Dead offers a novel alternative to the process of creation, challenging the traditional designer-focused approach to artistic expression.
