Unravel

Launched in Spring/Summer 2015, Unravel is the personal design project of ESMOD graduate and designer Ben Taverniti. Disrupting industry conventions and defying commercial pressures, the label offers a range of seasonless, one-of-a-kind womenswear essentials, each hand-treated and elevated with carefully-sourced, premium materials. Androgynous streetwear staples, including nylon bomber jackets, puffers, and denim jackets, are restructured in innovative, feminine silhouettes. Capturing a decidedly downtown allure, the cult label pairs its heavily distressed luxe jersey t-shirts, sweatshirts, and cashmere hoodies, with shredded jeans, leather pants, denim miniskirts, and fitted lounge pants. Cut-out bodysuits, ankle boots, and thigh-high boots round out the label’s selection of effortless separates.
